Invoices and tax info
How to access invoices and set tax information.
Every billing cycle, boveDAM generates an invoice for your workspace subscription. Invoices are available as PDFs and include full line-item detail. Only the workspace owner can access billing and invoice settings.
Finding and downloading invoices
All invoices are stored in your account indefinitely:
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Select Account settings.
- Open the Billing tab.
- Scroll to Invoice history.
Each invoice is listed with its date, amount, and billing period. Click Download PDF next to any invoice to save a copy.
The PDF includes:
- boveDAM's business name and address
- Your workspace name and billing contact email
- The plan name and billing period (e.g., "Studio — May 1–31, 2026")
- Line items and amounts
- Any applied tax ID (RFC or VAT)
- Payment status
If an invoice shows a tax ID you have not yet added, that means the ID was added after that invoice was generated. Tax IDs only appear on future invoices — they do not apply retroactively.
Setting your tax ID
If your organization requires a tax ID on invoices for accounting purposes, you can add it from Account settings:
- Go to Account settings → Billing.
- Click Tax information.
- Enter your RFC (for Mexico-registered businesses) or VAT number (for EU-registered businesses).
- Click Save.
The tax ID will appear on all invoices generated after you save it. Invoices that were already generated will not be updated. If you need a corrected invoice for a past period, contact support@bovedam.com with the invoice number and your tax ID.
Updating your billing contact email
By default, invoice emails are sent to the workspace owner's account email. If you want invoices sent to a different address — for example, your accounts payable department — you can set a separate billing contact:
- Go to Account settings → Billing.
- Click Billing contact.
- Enter the email address that should receive invoice emails.
- Click Save.
The workspace owner's account email does not change. Only invoice-related emails are routed to the billing contact.
If an invoice looks incorrect
If an amount, date, or line item on an invoice is wrong, do not attempt to edit it — invoices are read-only. Contact support@bovedam.com and include:
- The invoice number (visible in the PDF header and in the Invoice history list)
- A description of what looks incorrect
- Your workspace name
The support team will review the invoice and issue a corrected version if needed. For tax-related corrections (wrong RFC or VAT number), provide your correct tax ID in the support email so it can be applied to the corrected invoice immediately.
