Per-plan caps, what counts toward storage, and the recompute job. Storage limits in boveDAM are enforced at the workspace level — all portals and all assets across the workspace share a single quota.
What counts toward storage
Every file you upload counts: original files, all generated thumbnails, and ZIP archives created on demand. Trashed assets count toward storage until they are permanently deleted (30 days after deletion). Brand module files (logos, fonts) also count.

The recompute job
Storage usage is computed by a background job that runs every 24 hours. The value shown in your dashboard may lag by up to 24 hours after a large deletion. Immediate recompute is not available from the UI — if you need an accurate count right after a bulk deletion, wait for the next scheduled run.
When storage is full
When your workspace reaches its storage quota, new uploads are blocked. Existing assets and portals remain accessible. Delete assets you no longer need, or upgrade your plan, to resume uploads.
